Recently, I got to do such a dream outdoor maternity session with Katherine and her family. As a photographer, I absolutely love maternity sessions! There’s something so special about capturing the beauty of the mom-to-be...or in this case, mom-to-be for the third time! The excitement of a new life on the way is just so special. I was so honored to capture these precious photos.
For an outdoor maternity session, I always start by scouting out the perfect location. I look for a spot with plenty of natural lighting, interesting backgrounds, and a peaceful atmosphere. I love using the natural surroundings to create beautiful, artistic shots that really capture the moment. For this shoot, we got there just in time for golden hour, my favorite time to do photoshoots. So the lighting was perfect, and then I set everything up according to the vision we had discussed. I talked to the couple about the kind of poses and shots they’d like, and then I got to work!
I love taking close-up shots of the mom-to-be to really capture her beauty. I also took some shots of the couple together, and the parents with their two little ones. I love using the natural surroundings to create beautiful, artistic shots that really capture the moment. After the session, I can’t wait to get to work editing the photos. I love seeing the final results and knowing that the couple will have these special photos to remember the special time in their lives. Again, I am so honored and grateful that they trusted me to capture this dreamy outdoor maternity session. I hope they cheerish these photos forever!
