5 unforgettable Wedding exit Ideas

The I dos have been said and the vows have been read, the night has come to an end and it’s time to go. But not without a grand finale! Regardless if you are planning it as you leave the ceremony and head to the reception or you’re waiting until all the festivities are over and timing it as you leave for the night, this tradition is bound to be fun and interactive for everyone! If you’re ready to plan the best wedding exit, keep reading to see my list of 5 unforgettable wedding exit ideas! Whether you want something creative, classic, glamorous, or simple, there a tons of exit ideas that will leave your guests amazed!

  1. SPARKLERS

This is the way to go out with a bang! They photograph amazing and always bring such a fun element to the Wedding day. Make sure you have plenty of sparklers, the more the better. Put someone in charge to hand these out and have everyone lined up correctly. Also, wait until you get the go from your photographer/videographer on when to start lighting them.

2. bubbles

This is a great option if you are limited on what you can and can’t have for your exit. I recommend only doing bubbles if you have a bubble machine gun. This really makes a difference and helps the bubbles to actually be seen in photos. Plus walking through a bunch of bubbles with your love at the end of the night is magical.

3. Lanterns

If you’re looking for a romantic send-off, this is the one for you! Wait till after dusk and have your guests release lanterns into the sky to create the most magical experience. If you’re worried about the open flames causing a fire, opt for battery-operated lights instead! Guests can write special notes and wishes for the newly married couple and send them off into the sky.

4. smoke bombs

Using smoke bombs is a fun and creative way to add some color to your send off! You can have your guests hold portable smoke bombs, have them go off behind you as you walk out, or assign certain people to be in charge of holding the smoke bombs. Just be careful to not get it on your dress or tux because they can stain.

Another idea would be if you don’t want to have an official exit you could have a last dance with your partner while these are going off and it would be so romantic and intimate with a great added element.

5. artificial snow

This is perfect if you’re having a winter wedding! As you walk out of the ceremony or reception and leave for the night you can have snow machines make it look like its snowing. Or to include your guests, you could have them toss artificial snow over you and your partner!

I hope this list helped you find a wedding exit that’s perfect for you and your partner! For more wedding planning help click here. To contact me about booking a session, click here!

KIND WORDS

“Kendra is seriously the absolute best! She has done our engagement and wedding photos, she even did a boudoir shoot for a surprise for my husband on our wedding day and let me tell you she did NOT disappoint in any of those! She is personal and will answer all your questions and she will make you absolutely comfortable taking all the pictures! I highly recommend her business! Oh and did I mention she love to travel so getting her to go to another state is not an issue! I will definitely be booking family photos next!”
