indoor studio maternity session | sky

Recently I had the opportunity to work with a family for an indoor studio maternity shoot. It was a family of three – a soon-to-be mom, her husband, and their son. It was an incredibly rewarding experience and so much fun! I was in awe photographing such an important moment in the life of this growing family. During the session I had the opportunity to capture their joy and excitement in anticipation of the new addition.

We made sure to capture multiple poses of the family together. I also got some individual portraits of the mom, her and her husband, and of their son. The love pouring put of these parents for their son and upcoming baby was beautiful. It's not everyday that I get the chance to capture these beautiful relationships! The indoor studio was the perfect backdrop for this session, as it had an intimate feel and allowed for a lot of flexibility with posing and direction. The studio had some really big windows that let in the perfect amount of natural light. I worked witth shadows it was giving me and it made the outcome so dreamy. I'm so glad I was able to bring out the beauty in the family and the mother's baby bump.

All-in-all it was an amazing session and I am grateful to have had the chance to capture these special moments. Seeing the smiles and joy radiating from the family was definitely the highlight of my day! I'm extremely honored that they trusted me with this shoot. And I hope hey cherish these photos for years to come!

Kind Words

“Having Kendra as our photographer as a part of our wedding day was beyond amazing. She had such a flawless process of having a consultation with us before our big day, got to know us during our engagement shoot and made the wedding day so smooth. Not only did she capture special moments, but she embraced the day with us. When we got to see her work we were absolutely blown away. Thank you for being a part of our special day. We are beyond grateful.” -Ashley
