New mexico equestrian engagement | Marina + Marco

Marina and Marco’s New Mexico equestrian engagement session felt like a dream! The warm glow from the sun mixed with the horses and the gorgeous scenery made for the most stunning photos. When I first started my photography journey I had no idea what would be in store but I am so happy with where it has led me. I get to work with the most amazing people and for this session, horses! I’ve done sessions with horses before but each time I am amazed with how magical the outcome is. They are truly beautiful animals and I love anytime I get to work with them. Something to keep in mind when working with animals is to work in some extra time, you never know what is going to happen and you can only control so much.

We were able to have two horses for the session. This was great because it added more variety to the photos and Marco and Marina were able to ride the horses at the same time. They rocked their engagement session and looked absolutely amazing while doing it. They look so natural in front of the camera and were a complete joy to work with. The love they have for each other is so evident and it was an honor to be able to capture that for them. Getting couples in front of my lens who are just to head over heels for each other is always so sweet and makes my day.

KIND WORDS

“Kendra is amazing and her work speaks for itself. My family and I took pictures with her in October and I don’t think it could’ve gone any better! Having a 1 year old cooperate with pictures is not an easy task but Kendra handled it like a champ. She’s patient, pays attention to detail and has a true natural talent for photography. Highly recommend for any event, occasion or just because!”
